Welcome to Ellie Mae’s Gifts! My name is Jennifer Ruehle, founder and owner of this business. I started this business in 2020 in my hometown, Valdosta, Georgia. It started off as a little hobby that I really enjoyed doing, but it ended up being something that people were interested in. I then was making some to sell in our local mall and around Christmas time; the demand for these blankets started to grow.

I have one amazing helper every time I make a new blanket, my little yorkie, Ellie Mae. She is the foundation of this business and obviously the one who does all the work! Because of her help, we created the name Ellie Mae’s Gifts!

My handmade blankets are something I deeply enjoy doing. It's something that keeps me relaxed and keeps my mind going. Sometimes everyone needs a little break from work or reality, cuddling up under one of these blankets is the best way to do it.
